Harlequin’s Gardens has been an organic nursery for 20 years. We have been researching alternatives to non-toxic pesticides for 35 years and we have been testing these products in our gardens and on the plants we produce for sale. This year we heard about the Pharm Solutions line and tried several products. We were very pleased with the results, especially since the ingredients are botanicals, smelled good and worked remarkably well. The Veggie Pharm was very effective against aphids, but what really amazed me was the way it worked on blister beetles. Blister beetles can defoliate a clematis in a week and cause really bad damage to Anemones. With one spraying, the beetles were actually dropping and with one more spraying they were no longer a problem. Beetle pests are usually very difficult with non-toxic controls, so I was impressed. The Garlic Pharm was very effective for spraying wasps that were living in my tractor. It did take repeated sprayings to get rid of them, but I did not have to worry about poisons or explosions, and the wasps did not want to return. The Oil Pharm was a good alternative to petroleum horticultural oils, which although they are effective and non-toxic, they are petroleum which we do not like to recommend for spraying pests on vegetables. We are happy to be able to recommend and sell the Pharm Solutions products to our loyal customers who depend on us for our organic plants and sustainable guidance. It’s great that they are USDA Certified Organic.

I would like to take this opportunity to offer a testimonial for your product Indoor Pharm. I have been an Interiorscaper for 35years and we have used everything available to us ranging from, the “bad chemicals” in the old days, all current commercially available products and “homemade” hot pepper wax, soap solutions, you name it !After obtaining Indoor Pharm at last years TPIE Show we tried it in a commercial office complex where EVERY product tried prior was rejected by employees that were sensitive or allergic to even the most diluted applications. That was our first success with Indoor Pharm. We have subsequently used Indoor Pharm in every situation while serving our Interior Scape Clients on Mealybug, Aphids, Thrips, Mites, Soft and Hard Scale and the dreaded FUNGUS GNATS !! I have discarded dozens of containers and bottles of “Stuff” and now only carry your product Indoor Pharm in our trucks. I might point out that it does take some experimenting with concentrations to get the right mix for each situation. It does take a 1-1, or 1-2 mix to knock out an infestation of Fungus Gnats. In most cases a 5-1 or a 10-1 dilution works just right with no adverse affects on any and all foliage we have used it on thus far. To take this a step further, I am also a National Level Plant Broker to InteriorScapers, Florists, Wholesale Florists, etc. I recommend Indoor Pharm for them to try and am happy to say they are now hooked and re-ordering regularly. From what I am told, the technicians just LOVE IT!In closing, I have even gone as far as to recommend Indoor Pharm to commercial nurseries here in Florida to use as a touch up on the loading docks prior to shipping. I wish you much success in the future and thank you again from the whole gang here.

I need to tell you about Pharm Solutions products. I have been using Rose Pharm and Fungus Pharm on two of my accounts (same person, two locations) for the past year. Some of these roses are over 30 years old and others are brand new. The person who takes care of the routine maintenance is very sensitive to chemicals. Even three to four days after I would spray in the past she would break out in a rash. So I started using your Rose Pharm and Fungus Pharm. Now the gardener has no idea when I spray and the results have been unbelievable. These roses, being “Old Roses” many of which are very disease prone, have been in great health. I increased the spray solution when I saw mildew coming on and the next time it was gone. The roses have leaves to the base and are always so healthy that it is hard to believe that they are even being sprayed. As a side bar, one location is a church and there is a children’s day care in connection with the church and the flowers are used to decorate the alter of the church every Sunday so the pesticides I use are questioned by many people. As the Botanic Specialist of the International Rose Test Gardens in Portland, Oregon we use all of the latest and best of the modern chemicals available for rose disease. Your Pharm Solutions line impresses me and I am working with Portland’s Parks and Recreation Integrated Pest Manager to use your Pharm Solutions products, but you know the wheels of government turn ever so slowly. I will accomplish this goal because I do believe that the Pharm Solutions line does work and is safe for everyone.

Rose Pharm zapped the aphids right of my Our Lady of Guadalupe Rose Bush. I decided to give natural products one more try and was not expecting much, however quite honestly, I have never seen anything like it. Every product from Pharm Solutions has done exactly what the company said it would do. Their customer service is outstanding also, every question I had was answered quickly and courteously. I spoke with two reputable nurseries which stated that they were getting great feed back about Pharm Solutions product. Since my husband and I invested in a new yard last year I wanted to take care of the beauty our architect had created and at the same time take care of the environment. I am the kind of person that has to try it to believe it and this works, better yet it does not hurt my cat, or dog or my grandchild, and for that matter me!

You know that sinking feeling you get when scale shows up on a plant? It’s almost like a death knell for the plant unless you 1) quit your day job and spend untold hours manually scraping off the scale, or 2) use a very toxic systemic that sometimes kills the scale from the inside of the plant out (not your safest or most organic method of pest control, to say the least).  My daughter was at her wits’ end with all sorts of pests on her Parlor Palm recently. She’d been able to tackle the white fly, spider mite, and aphids using something that makes you think you should be wearing HazMat attire, but the scale didn’t budge. With only weeks to spare before the poor plant finally bit the dust, she happened upon Indoor Pharm, an amazing insecticidal soap made of food grade oil, essential oils, and potassium bicarbonate. It worked like a miracle. That’s the best part. The next best part is that it did so without making her apartment a Superfund site. Indoor Pharm is 35 fluid ounces of wonder, obliterating the pests I’ve mentioned, along with thrips, mealy bugs, mites, fungus, and more. No home with houseplants should be without it. Just goes to show you that sometimes there are ways to solve problems without compromising your health or the environment.

We have been gardening organically for the past four years, using products purported to rid our garden of Powdery Mildew, Blackspot, Rust and insects that infest our more than 400 roses. As Judges for the American Rose Society and Consulting Rosarians, we suggest products that are safe and dependable for the roses. When we speak about aspects of growing good roses, we give the option of chemicals or growing organically. It is every individuals choice to make. We started using Rose Pharm in March of this year and what a difference it has made in our garden! I suggested to my husband, since our gardens are divided into two distinctly different beds, (front and rear), we should use several different products in controlled areas, test them and see which offers the best results. Having done this, there is no doubt in our eyes that the new product, Rose Pharm, works much better than other products we have used. Powdery Mildew and Blackspot are a thing of the past and we find the Organic Peppermint Soap an excellent insecticide. We enter our roses in competition and the most recent was on Saturday June 5, 2004. According to the rules, as Judges, could only enter two roses, one for each of us. We won the competition! This over more than 50 roses in the Judges class! I think our winning is proof that Rose Pharm does the work for us. Thank you Pharm Solutions, for offering products so innovative and safe for the environment, as well as our health and welfare, yet keep our roses so beautiful.

I am always interested in new and exciting products for my house plants. When a garden club newsletter recommended Fish Pharm as a foliar fertilizer for houseplants, I ordered 3 bottles. After reading the label I was afraid to spray the plants inside the house so I moved the plants out to the garage. I sprayed all 13 plants and left them to soak up the richness. Boy! Was I surprised at the end result. No oil spots on the garage floor and plants that really looked good. Their leaves were dark lush green and healthy looking. Not spotted like when I mist them with water. I used almost a whole bottle on the first application between the indoor plants and the outdoor plants and flowers. I know I will be using your product each month cause my plants loved the experience. I thank you. I am looking forward to trying Indoor Pharm, as soon as you send it.

Finding Deer Pharm has changed my life as a gardener. In 2000 I moved to my present house in suburban New Jersey and started changing the yard into a garden – or I planned to, but I soon discovered that many of the plants I wanted to grow were, to put it mildly, not deer-proof. My garden backs onto a woodland park, and the deer graze all around my house – on my shrubs, plants and trees. They even ate the leaves of a dogwood tree planted in memory of my husband and son in law – deer supposedly do not like dogwood leaves but as a plant store worker said to me, “they haven’t read the book”. I tried numerous repellent sprays including “Not Tonight, Deer”, Deer Off, Liquid Fence – I tried little garlic tubes attached to plants – I tried a Rube Goldberg kind of scented electric stick to shock the deer’s noses – I don’t know if they got shocked, but I got a few shocks on the rear end myself while weeding. I inquired about the cost of electric fences and a cattle grid for the driveway, but I don’t have that kind of money. I even tried coyote urine (UGH!). I started thinking I might have to limit myself to planting only “deer resistant” plants. I have spent hundreds of dollars in an effort to discourage the deer from feeding on my plants and nothing has worked – until now. Early in the spring I heard about Deer Pharm; I was understandably skeptical after all the other things had failed, but because I already know and use Fish Farm I decided it was worth a try. The results are almost unbelievable. I now have several flourishing Hosta plants where before there was nothing. In fact on this photo you can see where the first leaves that came up in the spring were bitten – then I started using Deer Pharm – and the plant is growing Unchewed. I’m attaching a photo of a euonymus I planted in 2001 – this was taken the day I planted it – by next morning it was stripped bare. I protected it since then and even though it is tiny, this year it has leaves and maybe it will survive and thrive. Thank you Pharm Solutions for an Organic answer to deer grazing.

Thank you for your wonderful Pharm products that are organic! I have been so desperate to find a product that will repel/kill lily leaf beetles that is organic. I used to have over 250 lilies. Now I am down to about 4 or 5 plants (the beetles ate them all.) I have tried other products and nothing worked. I purchased your Flower Pharm through a catalog in the early spring. I was looking at my gardens & saw that my few lilies were covered with the beetles again. I remembered the Flower Pharm & used it. It even lasted through the rain. The beetles did not come back & my lilies are blooming. I will now be able to plant more bulbs. Thank you again for a great product. I am looking forward to trying all your products.

In previous years the deer have visited us often in both our back and front yards, sometimes a herd of eight or ten. They would eat most of the flowers and many of our bushes. The only way our flowers and bushes survived was to put high fencing around them. Since we’ve been spraying with Deer Pharm the deer do not come to our yard anymore. Our flowers and bushes are doing fine and we have no need for fencing. It’s a fine product and we will continue to use it.

We used the Weed Pharm for the first time around our fish pond where a variety of weeds were growing through a cover of stone. Within 24 hours all the weeds had shriveled up. We are very impressed with this product.
